The planting and sowing courses have become classics. We know from previous years that they tend to fill up quickly, so don't wait too long to reserve your place. Keep an eye on this page or the homepage for new dates.
This is an excellent time for propagating plants, and you would be surprised at how many perennials and shrubs can be easily propagated in this way. After an hour of theory, we will get to work. Cuttings, potting soil and pots will be provided. Participants in this course are often so enthusiastic that they get started right away at home. Every year, the course is fully booked, and we often organise a second course the day before due to high demand.
In the last week of the year that we are open, we give one of the most interesting practical lessons. The fascination of a seed germinating has existed for centuries. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer people are sowing seeds themselves. It adds so much to gardening and is so easy. We can sow many perennials and shrubs. How does it work and can we just sow everything indiscriminately? What is the best sowing soil and how long do we have to wait for something to sprout? Always fully booked.
